Signs of Food poisoning often occur when someone eats foods that contain toxins such as bacteria, viruses or parasites. What are signs of food poisoning usually arise to our body?

In light to moderate cases, signs of food poisoning generally can resolve themselves without needing medical care, whereas in worst case could possibly be threat human’s life. We should get medical help as soon as possible.

Stomach cramps

For babies and older people with chronic illnesses or diseases that weaken the immune system more likely to experience severe dehydration. For severe case, direct intravenous fluid replacement is needed. To prevent this signs of food poisoning you should still drink plenty of water or drinks containing electrolytes.

Foods that are best eaten when signs of food poisoning emerge are bananas, rice, apples and bread. After two days or more, patient may eat potatoes, cooked carrots, biscuits and fruit and vegetables.

As for liquid, patient can drink water, healthy drinks, herbal teas and fruit juices (other than pear juice and apple juice because it can lead to diarrhea). In addition there are some foods and beverages should be avoided are fatty foods, foods rich in fiber, too much sugar, spicy, caffeine and soda drinks. Eating those kinds of food, we can at least remedy such signs of food poisoning.
